XCNC
The Xinachtli (She-nash-tli) Comadres National Colectiva, XCNC empowers young women of reproductive age to embrace leadership, cultural resilience, and healing. Our work dismantles systemic oppression by fostering emotional well-being, cultural identity, and advocacy skills essential for creating change in their communities. Central to XCNC is the circulo / circle process, a culturally rooted practice that provides a safe and supportive space for reflection, connection, and collective growth. Through this process, participants build resilience and develop the tools to challenge systemic injustices, advocate for reproductive justice, and pursue equity. Reproductive justice is a cornerstone of our efforts, ensuring women have the right to make decisions about their bodies and access affordable, culturally responsive healthcare. XCNC addresses mental health by creating healing spaces, projects and offering Mental Health First Aid certification, while advocating for accessible reproductive care to promote physical well-being. Participants deepen their connections with their communities and gain the confidence to step into leadership roles, transforming their lives and becoming agents of change.
